Award winning visual storyteller, DEBABRATA PAL brings the ancient concept of Raag Chitra to the west. Debabrata Pal paints his rendition on canvas to musicians playing live, with live projection direct from India. Raaga chitra is an aspect of the art of visual storytelling (Chitravinaya). Not a painting from the imagination or a copy, its colour and figurative forms are derived from the raags (scales) and bandish (composition) according to the Upanishads and scriptures. All colours and shades change slowly during the rendering of the bandish and final output being Chitrvinaya (visual storytelling) for all to see live.

Live performance and dance workshop of Kathak dance from Mrs.Deepti Kulkarni. Deepti Kulkarni is a Master of Fine Arts in drawing, painting, and Kathak dance with the Jaipur Gharana under her Guru Ms. Mukta Joshi. A Nritya Alankar in Kathak holder from Gandharva Mahavidlaya Academy, Pune. Deepti has performed in annual programs at her institute, throughout India and international dance festivals In Shanghai, Seoul, Saint-Maurice, France and Cyprus.

A World class musician and composer, Guest CHRIS ANDRE honours us with a performance of Bouzouki and Tsouras, lending his Greek roots to the style of Indian classical music. An accomplished Greek musician with a vast career spanning over four decades, Chris performs with many renowned musicians Worldwide in concert and, as a solo artist. Among the many genres of music covered by Chris, Greek music is his first passion and roots. Chris brings with him a genuine and pure contribution to the challenge of Indian classical music fusion. Chris joins the CrossMigration for a combination of Bouzouki & Sitar that will leave you in wonder and amazement at such cultural unity.
