"Dinner with a Fool" is a brilliant situation comedy where laughter coexists with irony, and profound themes lurk beneath the apparent lightness.

Every week, a group of arrogant intellectuals hosts a dinner... with fools. Each brings along what they consider to be their most ridiculous guest, for the sake of hilarious ridicule. But this time, things don't go according to plan.
The protagonist, Pierre Brochant, a self-confident publisher, finds the "perfect" candidate: the simple-minded accountant François Pignon, with an insane passion for collecting ducks for his bath. But this "fool" turns out to be more than just a simpleton. Instead of becoming the butt of ridicule, Pignon begins to ruin Brochant's life. A series of absurd accidents turns the evening into a disaster, and the smug intellectual, instead of a hunter, becomes the victim of his own plan.
Full of witty dialogue and satire, Weber's play mocks snobbery and demonstrates that true stupidity is arrogance.
