Alice is asleep on Christmas Eve when a woman’s voice wakes her up and calls. From there she steps into the magic of Winterland, with its talking, singing and dancing snowmen, penguins, polar bears, elves, snow fairies and snowflakes. Little does she know that the evil Snow Queen has lured her there to turn her into a snowflake like lots of other little girls. Alice is desperate to get home before Christmas Day and her new friends Frosty and Freezy the snowmen and Vanilla Ice the Penguin help her on her trek. But Jack Frost and the Snow Queen have other plants for Alice.
The play is written by Christine Hope. It is directed by Filippos Filippou, Christiana Papanastasiou, Klelia Malekidou and Nataliya Raykovska with the help of all the school staff.
The production features American Academy (Private) School Limassol Angels Sun Nest Kindergarten and Primary School children.
In the spirit of Christmas, all the proceeds and money raised will be donated to Elpida Foundation- a charity for children with cancer and leukemia.
