Garfield continues to work with a variety of legendary artists including The Temptations, Cher, Spinal Tap and Van Morrison.

David Garfield has been driven by the same mission since moving to Los Angeles as a teenager in the early 70s: “I make music.” Fully living up to this vision over the past decades, the renowned keyboardist, composer, arranger and recording artist has established himself an eclectic force of musical nature. At any point during his career, he has been a songwriter, producer, bandleader, arranger, recording artist, record label owner (Creatchy Records), session and touring musician and musical director.
The multi-talented musician has a fruitful career spanning over 5 decades starting with stints with Willie Bobo, Freddie Hubbard, and Tom Scott in the ‘70s, joining Boz Scaggs and George Benson, and releasing his first solo recordings in the ‘80s. After working with the LA session elites in the studio, Garfield joined forces with members of Toto to continue recording, touring and performing in the LA scene.
He started a songwriting partnership with Motown legend Smokey Robinson, whose album 'Gasms' features Garfield on piano, arranging, and producing. Garfield also has numerous stints as George Benson’s musical director, plus credits on the legend’s release 'Guitar Man'. Garfield continues to work alongside legendary artists such as The Temptations, Cher, Spinal Tap, Larry Carlton and Van Morrison.
Garfield's series of solo works (Outside The Box, Guitar Heroes, Salute To The Masters, Monster Trio) features artists such as Michael McDonald, David Sanborn and Eddie Van Halen, along with members of Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers, Toto, Chicago, The Doors, Jimmy Buffet, Santana, Steely Dan, The Meters, Tower of Power and Vulfpek.
Besides releasing his own CDs, leading his own bands and performing live, David Garfield continues to collaborate with the top musical talent across the globe both as a producer, arranger as well as a keyboardist and songwriter.
