SEVENTH EUROPEAN CHORAL FESTIVAL OF ARIS CHOIR OF LIMASSOL
Pattihio municipal theatre, 15 and 16 November, 8.00 pm
A different programme on each day in the two day festival.
The first will be a day of classical and other classical like music.
On the second day there will be a programme of various styles of music by all choirs.
Participating choirs: One from Poland , one from Russia, two from Greece and two from Cyprus.
The hosting choir of ARIS along with its children choir.

Attendance at the Event is at 75% of venue capacity with proof of one of the following:

Piano recital by Anna Avraamidou
The Nicosia International Festival proudly hosts the 13-year-old pianist Anna Avraamidou, opening wide the stage of the Nicosia Municipal Theatre to accommodate her emerging talent. The charismatic, award-winning Cypriot teenage pianist will take us mentally, using her piano as a vehicle, to the dreams of autumn.

Το πολυαναμενόμενο MedFest - Limassol Beer Festival έρχεται στη Λεμεσό στον ειδικά διαμορφωμένο χώρο στον Ποταμό Γερμασόγειας, από τις 9 μέχρι τις 14 Νοεμβρίου για έξι συνεχόμενες ανεπανάληπτες βραδιές με αγαπημένους καλλιτέχνες και απολαυστική μπύρα. Σε άτομα που κατέχουν πιστοποιητικό ανάρρωσης από την ασθένεια του COVID-19 με ισχύ έξι μηνών από την ημερομηνία δειγματοληψίας της αρχικής τους θετικής διάγνωσης, είτε το Ψηφιακό Πιστοποιητικό COVID της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης (EU Digital Covid Certificate), μόνο στις περιπτώσεις που το πιστοποιητικό αφορά σε εμβολιασμό για την ασθένεια του COVID-19 ή ανάρρωσης από την ασθένεια του COVID-19.
3. Σε άτομα ηλικίας κάτω των 12 ετών. Απαραιτήτως με την παρουσίαση ταυτότητας και με την συνοδεία γονέων!
4. Σε άτομα ηλικίας 12 έως 15 ετών τα οποία προσκομίζουν αρνητική εργαστηριακή εξέταση ή εξέταση ταχείας ανίχνευσης αντιγόνου για την ασθένεια του COVID-19 με τη δειγματοληψία να έχει πραγματοποιηθεί εντός 72 ωρών. Απαραιτήτως με την παρουσίαση ταυτότητας και με την συνοδεία γονέων!

Brothers Konstantinos and Matthaios Tsachouridis after two years without music, two years away from their audience returned to a new period of appearances, including the Nicosia International Festival. They exclaimed excitedly just like the organizers of the Festival "Finally" for the moment when they met again their audience. Together with Konstantinos and Matthaios Tsachouridis we will wander in the unique world of music with sounds, from Greece and all over the world, melodies created by them for their audience. Their goal is to color our moments with their music.

As part of the three-day celebration "Taste the music"
"Routes λ2" is based on the theatrical event Routes that took place in March 2019 with stories inspired by the theatrical workshop held within the European program "Perform to Reform" in collaboration with ACCEPT LOATI - Cyprus, and partners NGOs participating in the program, from Slovenia, Northern Macedonia, the Netherlands and Greece.
The performance will take place in one of the Municipal Buses starting from the Nicosia Municipal Theatre. A bus full of inspiring stories of the LGBTI + community has as its starting point the Nicosia Municipal Theater for routes in the streets of the city.

…a one-woman musical show from London to the Nicosia International Festival 2021 at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre with a 4-piece orchestra on stage
A comedy!
Flic is in a permanent state of crisis. A single, out-of-work actress, she survives by waiting tables, going home in the evenings to her manipulative cat, Miss Fluffington, at weekends she attends the weddings of her smug friends alone, and worst of all dreads that she will soon turn twenty nine. Twenty nine! Insufferable. She is horrified to learn that her perfect younger sister is getting married. Weakling! Will she be able to overcome her reluctance to find a date, or even love by the time of the wedding…?
The internationally known creator of the show and orchestrator of the film “Mr. Bean’s Holiday”, Andrew Fisher will be accompanying the orchestra on the piano.

As part of the three-day celebration "Tastes the music"
The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra participates in the celebrations for the 200 years since the Greek Revolution of 1821 with a program dedicated to the Cypriot national composer Solon Michaelides (1905-1979), as well as the Cypriot national poet Vassilis Michaelides (1849 or 1853-1917). His fellow works will be presented: Cantata Eleftheroi Poliorkimenoi for soprano and baritone (poetry: Dionysios Solomos), the Ballet "Nafsika" from the opera Odysseus, the songs "Your eyes" (poetry: Nikos Kranidiotis) and "My Kerenia" (poetry: Kypros Chrysanthis) for soprano and orchestra orchestrated by Mikis Michaelides, "The humble’s prayer" (poetry: Zacharias Papantoniou) and "Aigia i kotsini" (Cypriot pastoral) for baritone and orchestra, as well as the orchestral Hymn of the Republic of Cyprus.

The CySO participates in the celebrations for the 200th anniversary of the Greek revolution with a programme dedicated to the Cypriot national composer Solon Michaelides (1905-1979), as well as to the Cypriot national poet Vasilis Michaelides (1849 or 1853-1917).
The concert will include the following works by Solon Michaelides: Cantata The Free Besieged (poetry: Dionysios Solomos) for soprano and baritone, the Ballet “Nafsika” from the opera Ulysses, the songs “Your eyes” (poetry: Nikos Kranidiotis) and “My Keryneia” (poetry: Kypros Chrysanthis) for soprano and orchestra, orchestrated by Mikis Michaelides, “The prayer of the humble one” (poetry: Zacharias Papantoniou) and “Aigia i kotchini” (Cypriot pastoral song) for baritone and orchestra, as well as the Cypriot National Anthem for orchestra. CYBC’s historic video-recording from 1975 of «Romiosyni» (“The Greek race”) by Vasilis Michaelides, set into music for mixed choir by Solon Michaelides, with the composer conducting the “Aris” Choir of Limassol will be also be shown during the event.
Excerpts from Vasilis Michaelides’ poem “The 9th July 1821” will be read as part of the event.
