The Symphonians returns to Cyprus with a new program featuring Ludovico Einaudi’s most famous compositions—Elements, Experience, Due Tramonti, and Una Mattina—as well as pieces from the new album The Summer Portraits, presented in orchestral form to the public for the first time.

Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi is one of the brightest representatives of contemporary neoclassicism. His music has become a symbol of cinematic depth and emotional expressiveness—it can be heard in iconic films such as The Intouchables, Black Swan by Darren Aronofsky, I’m Still Here by Casey Affleck, and Mommy by Xavier Dolan. One of his soundtracks was even nominated for an Academy Award.

Although he began his career within the academic tradition, Einaudi soon transcended classical boundaries, blending ambient, ethnic, rock, and minimalist elements into his style. His compositions are meditative and deeply personal musical narratives that resonate with listeners around the world.
