Modern theater surprises, sometimes shocks, and definitely never leaves you indifferent. But how to "read" it? How to understand a performance where puppets or objects play instead of actors?
At the lecture we will discover 3 sensations of the stage in recent years:
Puppets that act better than actors
Circus, where feelings are more important than tricks
Theater, where objects, silent witnesses of our lives, tell stories about ourselves
- We will see excerpts from the most unusual performances in Europe
- We will learn to watch performances more deeply
- We will ask questions to the expert
Anna Ivanova-Brashinskaya is a theater critic, director, researcher of contemporary theater, curator of festivals, expert of the Golden Mask award, one of the most authoritative teachers in the field of contemporary theater with many years of experience and teaching experience in leading theater universities in Russia and Europe (RGISI, St. Petersburg, Academy of Arts in Turku (Finland), VShSI K. Raikin (Moscow), Yekaterinburg Theater Institute, etc.)
