At the center of this almost detective story are two married couples going through hard times. An unsuccessful artist is convinced that she is not prone to jealousy. A self-confident doctor believes that he is free to choose women. A fragile housewife seeks passion and exists in an imaginary world. An idealistic lawyer asks himself and his charges uncomfortable questions.
Together with the characters of the play, the viewer experiences romantic, funny, tragic and farcical situations, trying to answer complex and important questions about love and marriage. "Sharp Objects" is a play by Igor Teplov (Kosmos, Zapovednik, Three Ivans at the Pushkin Theatre): "The story we tell is not only about love, but also about freedom. About the boundaries that arise when you tie yourself in a relationship. With our play, we are trying to answer the questions: is freedom possible in marital relations? When you fall in love, do you gain freedom or lose it? Does betrayal liberate or enslave?"
