"Alexey Ivashchenko is known as a singer-songwriter — both solo and as part of the legendary duo “Ivasi” with Georgy Vasilyev — a guitarist with a unique, instantly recognizable style, and also an actor, including voice dubbing: in Russian, he has voiced Bruce Willis, Robin Williams, Hugh Grant, and many others.
He has been deeply involved in the world of musical theater — as co-author, co-director, producer, actor, and lyricist.
His portfolio includes Ordinary Miracle and Nord-Ost, as well as Russian-language adaptations of The Sound of Music, Singin’ in the Rain, The Phantom of the Opera, Chess, The Little Mermaid, and many others.
