More about the event:

Origins

The visionary behind the "Age of Happiness" project is Yakov Lev Vainer (also known as Vladimir Yakovlev), a seasoned journalist known for his work with Kommersant Publishing House, as well as for founding SnobZhiVi, and hosting the video series Yakovlev on Mondays. After relocating to Israel in 2014, Yakovlev launched the project with a mission to help people rediscover joy and meaning in their lives.

In 2020, the project evolved to focus on online programs based on Yakovlev’s proprietary methodology. Supported by a network of Russian-speaking Israeli professionals — including coaches, psychologists, and scientists — these programs aim to help individuals aged 45 and older overcome stagnation and find renewed fulfillment.

Annual Festivals

An integral component of the project is the annual festival "The Age of Happiness. To Be Continued," held in Montenegro, Georgia and now in Cyprus. These festivals feature a diverse program of intensive lectures, sports, and entertainment, attracting participants from across the globe.

This year's festival, taking place from October 30 to November 06 in Paphos, Cyprus, will host speakers and guests from Israel alongside attendees from over 25 countries. The festival brings together unique individuals to exchange life experiences, explore new possibilities, and grow in the art of living. It’s a space for meaningful connection, inspiration, and the reminder that the journey always continues.

Social Media Audience

Combined social media following of the project and Vladimir Yakovlev exceeds 1,000,000 subscribers.

Audience primarily aged 40-65, Russian-speaking, spanning over 40 countries globally.

To date, the "Age of Happiness. To Be Continued" festivals have welcomed over 2,500 participants, with online programs reaching over 10,000 individuals.

31 October 2025 — Lecture by Leonid Krol

As part of the festival “To Be Continued”, Leonid Krol will give his first lecture in Cyprus. The Art of Living”, Leonid Krol will give a lecture. He is the man who invented Russian-language coaching.

On 31 October, at the Aliathon Resort, we will meet Leonid Krol, who is a candidate of medical sciences, a professor and an expert in business psychology.

He will give a lecture entitled 'Transition with Joy: How to Develop in the Desired Direction'.

Why attend?
If you feel that there is too much uncertainty in your life.

What will you learn?
How to learn to embrace transitional periods and times of change.

There are symbolic steps you can take to embrace change. These steps can be radical or completely invisible.

People think in stories, plots and narratives; they extend their sense of self to their surroundings. Therefore, anything can become a story about ourselves, not just a thing. As in Andersen's fairy tales, we create and experience stories about objects and symbols, scars and rings, jackets and streets. We attach internal changes to external signs. The goal is to feel different.

You're still you, but now you know a new language well, have a new job with new responsibilities, and smell a little different.

02.11. – Viktor Shenderovich

Viktor Shenderovich's short, ironic prose and dramaturgy won public recognition in the late 1980s. With a helping hand from Gennady Khazanov, his “The Village of Gadyukino” became part of Russian folklore.

His trademark has long been the Black Walkers theatre, in which Shenderovich performs his own short, paradoxical dialogues.
On 2 November, we will meet at the “Shencerovich Live: The New and the Best of the Old...”.

Shenderovich has been performing to great success since 2005, in venues ranging from Moscow and Naryan-Mar to Melbourne and San Francisco. His audience is wherever people who have read the same books as the author and appreciate the Russian language live.

"You have to believe in yourself. Believe in yourself, believe in your sense of good and evil, trust yourself! Maybe you'll help those around you. And don't look for pills to cure your despair — you are the pill!”

2.11.2025  — Stand-up comedy by Dima Zitser

Parenting often seems to bring many problems into our lives, as well as warmth and love. The need to raise children can sometimes turn into a real confrontation between parents and children. Is there another way? Can we simply love without fighting or raising?

Join us on 2 November for Dima Zitzer's educational stand-up comedy show, 'You Can't Love, You Can't Raise'.

Dima Zitzer is an educator, enlightener and writer. You've definitely seen him somewhere before! If not, be sure to come along!

Why come? To find answers to the most pressing, complex and 'unsolvable' questions.

What will you learn? How to better understand yourself, your children and others.

Come along, and let's hug, laugh, cry and talk.

"We'll teach you to be aggressive, cruel and dominant. Let's accept, love and listen — let's give ourselves a chance to be accepted, loved and heard.'

2.11.2025 — Creative meeting with Alexei Ivashchenko

When did you last sing your favourite songs with other people in unfamiliar company? If it's been a while, come along! If not, then all the more reason to come to Alexei Ivashchenko's concert. He was formerly a member of the creative duo "Ivasi", and is now an actor, musician and producer.

On 2 November, there will be a concert and creative meeting with Alexei Ivashchenko entitled "I Am the Best in the World". These events always take the form of a live dialogue with the audience, so bring your notebooks and pens to pass notes with questions and requests to the stage.

'Art doesn't make declarations; it resonates and can affect areas of human nature that slogans, posters or signs cannot touch. Therefore, returning to your question, songs, including the most 'lyrical' ones, are sometimes much broader and deeper than the words and music that make them up."
