Ιστορία:
Δυο νέες γυναίκες οι Λουίζα και η Μαρία φίλες και γειτόνισσες κάθε Κυριακή απολαμβάνουν την παρέα τους στήν κοινή αυλή των σπιτιών τους κάπου στήν Ιταλία .
Έτσι σπάζουν τις ανιαρές μέρες που γεννήθηκαν από την καθημερινότητα τους .
Η σύνθεση μεγαλώνει όταν στήν αυλή παρουσιάζεται μιά ξένη γυναίκα η Βέτα η οποία νοικιάζει ένα από τα σπιτάκια της αυλής .
Τα στερεότυπα και η κοινωνικη καταπίεση αναποδογυρίζονται και γίνονται ευτράπελα .
Τό γέλιο κορυφώνεται μέ την άφιξη του πεθερού της Λουίζας .
Με γκροτέσκα διάθεση και χιούμορ η παράσταση δίννει χρώμα και γέλιο .

The play is a collection of diary entries of a young woman who appears to be suffering from postpartum depression. Her husband-who is also her doctor- isolates her in a country house, intending to prescribe a rest cure for what he calls "a temporary nervous depression—a slight tendency to hysteria," a diagnosis common enough for women of that time. Locking her in the children's room of the house, he forbids her any creative work and imposes on her a strict diet and medication, as well as the use of electrotherapy. He also deprives her of contact with all her family members, even her baby.

Ένας παραμυθάς.... και ένα λιοντάρι αλλιώτικο, που δεν του αρέσει να τρομάζει τα παιδιά, αλλά να χορεύει και να τραγουδά. Πείθει λοιπόν τον παραμυθά να διηγηθεί ένα παραμύθι με ένα λιοντάρι που κάνει αστεία και γκριμάτσες , μια αρκούδα με τουτού, σχοινοβάτες, κλόουν και ακροβάτες και ταχυδακτυλουργούς!
Έτσι λοιπόν το παραμύθι μας μεταφέρεται που αλλού? Σε ένα Τσίρκο φανταστικό!
Σύντομα όμως όλοι θα καταλάβουμε πως κανένα ζώο δεν πρέπει να μένει σε κλουβί..... αλλά στην φύση ελεύθερο και χαρούμενο να ζει!

Μια παράσταση που δέχεται και επιδοκιμάζει την διαφορετικότητα. Συγχρόνως τονίζει την σημασία της τέχνης, της φαντασίας αλλά και της ανάγκης να συνυπάρχουμε αρμονικά με το περιβάλλον με την φύση και τα ζώα!

To welcome the New Year 2023, the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra is proud to be joined by two world-celebrated musicians, maestro Mark Kadin and pianist Roberto Prosseda. Maestro Kadin is the Music Director of the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, where he is highly valued for his exceptional musicianship, glittering interpretations and creative energy. Besides being a pianist of astounding artistry and rare versatility, Roberto Prosseda is also one of today’s leading interpreters of Felix Mendelssohn, hence he will delight us with the composer’s 1st Piano Concerto. The concert will close with yet another romantic masterpiece, Schumann’s Third Symphony.

The new work of Fotis Nikolaou attempts a dive into the subconscious, in an attempt, to give body to what we do not dare to say or do, to shed light on what we hide and fortify behind protective shields.
On stage we witness the architecture of a modern hell, of a purgatory, through an endless labyrinth that keeps shifting, transforming and constantly changing names and titles, like a dream within a dream. A dark mind game that keeps us trapped in the company of our fears and weaknesses, away from life, away from the light, and plunges us into loneliness and idleness. An endless battle, a hand-to-hand fight with our darkness, a head-on collision with ourselves, a constant effort to reach "nowhere". Again and again.
